The Bilan Carbone ?
ECO2 Initiative is a provider certified by ADEME for achieving Bilan Carbone ® . The Bilan Carbone® method is a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions assessment tool. It can be used to account for the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of all types of organisation : industrial or tertiary companies, administrations or local authorities.

Walk the talk
ECO2 Initiative’s mission is to assist clients in adopting a strategy of sustainable development and implementing concrete actions for achieving sustainability.
It seems essential that our company walk the talk for itself. We are then involved strongly to meet the challenges of the twenty first century.
The readability of our commitment and the extent of its results is a duty vis-à-vis all of our stakeholders.
It is the purpose of this document which outlines the principles of the Charter of Sustainable Development, our company intends to comply (French version only).
ECO2 Initiative is the sum of many skills that we offer to meet the challenge of sustainable development. Using our teams is to be guaranteed a frank relationship based on listening. Bilan Carbone
ECO2 Initiative has achieved its Bilan Carbone ® establishing the inventory and the profile of emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) related to its activities since its creation August 10, 2006. Here is a Summary of Carbon Balances of the first two years (2006-2007 and 2008, French version only).
Reducing GHG emission
A series of actions aimed at minimizing GHG emissions related to the activity of ECO2 has been selected as a result of this internal audit is carried out daily by company employees.
Offsetting GHG
All GHG emissions inventoried as part of the carbon footprint since the birth of the company until December 31, 2008 resulted in a donation to "CO2 Solidaire", the compensation program of the NGO GERES, under "Solidarity climate" that combines two complementary and inseparable : the reduction of emissions of greenhouse gases in North and accompanying people in developing countries cope with climate changes. The emission is 21.2 téqCO2 concerned.
